Uses and Virtues: hydrosol of Roman Chamomile is renowned for its regenerating and soothing action on delicate skin and body. In addition, Chamomile Roman hydrosol can relieve eye inflammation, eczema, psoriasis and also dental pain.

Do not confuse floral water and hydrosol. A hydrosol or distillate water is an extract obtained by steam distillation of the various parts of the aromatic plant. Hydrosols are very versatile, they can be used for skin care, replace the water in your lotions, creams, soaps, to perfume a room, clothing or other flavor your meals and beverages. Our floral waters are quality 100% pure and natural preservative free from wild culture. We need 1kg of plants or fresh flowers to make 1 liter of hydrosol for a 1/1 contribution which ensures better conservation and better concentration of aromatic molecules in the hydrosol.

Note that hydrolats are very sensitive to bacteria developments due to their low content of essential oil. They should be stored in a cool place away from light. It is advisable to keep them in the refrigerator.
