Use of the millevertus.ca online sales site is governed by these terms and conditions of use which constitute a contract between you and Mille Vertus.

By using the site or ordering a product on the site, you acknowledge having read and understood all of the terms and conditions and having accepted them. If you do not want to be bound by these terms and conditions, you may not use the Site or order Products through the Site.

Mille Vertus reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions at any time, effective on the date above. All terms and conditions or agreements which prevailed before this date are obsolete. If we change the Terms, we will post the new terms and conditions on the Site and indicate the date they were most recently updated. Mille Vertus operates the site from its offices located in Quebec. Mille Vertus makes no representation to the effect that elements of the site may be used in locations other than Canada and it is prohibited to access the site from territories where the legislation would prescribe that the content or use of the site would be illegal. Those who choose to use the Site do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with all applicable local laws.

Website

As this site is located in Canada, all transactions must be paid in Canadian currencies.

All deliveries will be made to the address you provided to us in your initial registration.

To your attention: The Mille Vertus site does not in any way constitute a medical reference, and cannot replace the experience and know-how of a professional. All people, adults, young children, elderly people, breastfeeding or pregnant, please consult a specialist before using an essential oil, as well as any product sold on the Mille Vertus website. The site millevertus.ca declines all responsibility in the event of an accident occurring to anyone who practices self-medication based on information from this site. As well as anyone with an allergy to certain products. It is your responsibility to do a skin test before use.

Important: All products on the millevertus.ca site are sold for external use only.

IMPORTANT: Some people may have reactions or intolerances to certain products.

Although most of our products are manufactured to food grade standards, we are not currently authorized to sell our products as Food Grade. All of our products are currently for external use only.

Note that the order processing time can vary from 2 to 7 working days and can sometimes be extended by a few days depending on the availability of products in inventory and certain times of the year (Holiday Season in particular). Thank you for your understanding.

Creating an account

Via the home page, you have the opportunity to create a user account for the millevertus.ca site. The purpose of creating an account is to facilitate and speed up the ordering process. Payment methods accepted: We are currently unable to accept cash or checks. Only payments by “Desjardins debit card”, PAYPAL and the following credit cards are accepted on the site:

We reserve the right to stop accepting or adding credit cards from one or more issuers at any time.

Validity and Authenticity: Credit cards used on the Site must be valid and authentic, and you must be authorized to use them. If the charge is not authorized or accepted, we reserve the right to cancel your order without notice and without any liability or obligation to you. We reserve the right to validate the credit card with any issuer if fraudulent use is suspected.

Orders: All purchases made at Mille Vertus are made online only and shipped by Canada Post or by Purolator depending on your choice. Orders with free delivery are shipped according to Mille Vertus' choice. Let us know in the comments when ordering if you have a preference.

Order procedure: Any order placed on the site millevertus.ca will be processed only when full payment of the order, applicable taxes, delivery costs and any other costs relating to the said order have been paid. In the absence of payment, the order will be canceled without any liability on the part of Mille Vertus.

Refund Policy

Refund: We agree to reimburse products with a manufacturing defect purchased on the site millevertus.ca (with the exception of products purchased on sale, samples, or indicated as final sale) at any time until the expiration of the 15th day following their receipt. Returned products must be accompanied by the original invoice and order number and in the same condition as they were when they were delivered to you.

Shipping cost. You must assume all delivery costs and risks for products returned for exchange or refund unless there is an error on our part.

For any product returns, please notify us by email. Return information will be sent to you.

Credit: Upon receipt of the returned products, any amount debited from your credit card account, debit card, or PAYPAL account in favor of Mille Vertus with respect to these products, except the return delivery costs, will be credited as soon as as possible, provided however that the products subject to return have been returned by you and received by Mille Vertus in accordance with the article above.

Product availability

Inventory: Mille Vertus in no way guarantees the availability in inventory of the products offered on the site. If Mille Vertus cannot deliver any of the products you ordered due to inventory shortages, Mille Vertus will credit or refund the amount charged to your credit or debit card for this product(s) and will send you confirmation of this reimbursement by email. Mille Vertus will at no time be responsible for stock shortages.

Delivery of products

Address: Mille Vertus will deliver the products ordered by you to the address you provided when placing your order. No delivery will be made to a post office box or to an address other than that indicated in your file.

Delivery costs: Delivery costs vary depending on the order (weight, volume, destination and delivery time) and appear on the screen when validating your order. Note that if you purchase an item, for example: a sachet of seed, it is considered a package and the delivery costs remain the same as for a 500g item.

Delivery time: Mille Vertus will endeavor to make delivery as quickly as possible after acceptance of your order. A handling time of 2 to 7 business days is required to process your order. Note that during the holiday season, November and December, the order processing time may be extended by a few days.

Delivery time and costs will vary depending on the destination of the shipment, the delivery method chosen and the availability of products in inventory. The delivery time is estimated from the moment the products leave the Mille Vertus place of business.

Elsewhere in Canada: 4 to 15 working days depending on the region and the delivery method chosen

International:

By air: 7 to 31 working days depending on the region and the delivery method chosen (note that by air and surface small packet, the tracking number is not available)

Carrier: Delivery of products is subject to the rules of the delivery companies with which Mille Vertus does business, in this case, currently Mille Vertus does business with Canada Post and Purolator.

A tracking number will be assigned to your package and recorded in the database to allow tracking of the delivery of your order. (Note: Except international small packet shipping by air or surface)

THE FOLLOWING PROVISIONS APPLY TO BOTH THE USE OF THE SITE AND TO ORDERS FOR PRODUCTS.

NO INFRINGEMENT. FURTHERMORE, MILLE VIRTUS MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS, WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS REGARDING THE USE, VALIDITY, ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF THE MATERIALS PRODUCED ON THE SITE OR AS TO THE RESULTS ARISING FROM THE USE OF SUCH MATERIALS OR AS TO THE FACT THAT THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE OFFERED WITHOUT INTERRUPTION OR THAT THEY WILL BE ERROR-FREE (THOUGH A MILLE VERTUS WILL DO EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO MAKE THE SITE CONTAIN NO ERRORS), THAT ERRORS/FLAWS ON THE SITE WILL BE CORRECTED OR THAT THE SITE OR THE SERVER WHICH HOSTS THE SITE IS FREE OF VIRUSES.

Limitation of liability

IN NO EVENT WILL MILLE VERTUS, ITS RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, SHAREHOLDERS, AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES OR EMPLOYEES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, DAMAGES, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY OR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE, LIABILITY, COST OR EXPENSE ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR PURCHASE OF PRODUCTS ON THE SITE, USE OF THE SITE, OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE, WHATSOEVER THE ORIGIN OF THE ACTION (CONTRACTUAL LIABILITY, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, GROSS NEGLIGENCE, OR BASED ON ANY OTHER THEORY OF LAW, INCLUDING FUNDAMENTAL BREACH), AND EVEN IF A THOUSAND VIRTUES HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN THE EVENT WHERE THE LIABILITY OF MILLE VERTUS COULD BE FINDED TOWARDS YOU, THIS WILL BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT OF MONEY EQUIVALENT TO THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCTS YOU ORDERED ON THE SITE.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in this article above may have the effect of limiting any rights that you may have as a consumer under any of the laws of public order (including the laws on consumer protection) which may be applicable to you.
