Extraction: Kokum butter comes from the Garcinia indica tree grown in India. Extraction by cold pressing fruit. Refined kokum Butter is hard of a cream to white and odorless.

Features: Kokum Butter is one of the most hard and stable butter, it has excellent emollient qualities. It is rapidly absorbed by the skin without leaving a greasy feeling.

Virtues and Use:
Kokum butter softens and smoothes the skin and leaves no oily skin. Very used in the treatment of hair. This is one of the hardest and butters stable plants. Kokum butter slowly melts at the temperature of the skin which makes it ideal for use in lipsticks and lip balms. Often used as a substitute for cocoa butter because of its composition in uniform triglycerides. Used as an addition to your soaps, body butters, balms, shampoos and more.

This butter should be stored in a cool dark place and has a shelf-life of 1 year when stored properly.
