Cocamidopropyl betaine is a foaming agent derived from coconut. It is often used in shampoos, bubble baths, liquid hand soaps and body cleansers. Cocamidopropyl betaine is a very soft co-surfactant compatible with anionic, nonionic, cationic surfactants, good cleanser and provides a beautiful foam. It also serves as a thickening agent for your foaming products and a moderate emulsifier. Recommended level of use is 4-40% depending on the desired foaming and cleaning effects.
