Natural Tooth paste

RECIPE NATURAL TOOTHPASTE

Ingredients:

Phase 1:
- 15gr of calcium carbonate
- 5gr of white clay kaolin

- 0,5g neodefend (preservative)


Phase 2:
- 5gr of baking soda to dissolve in a little water (1 tbs) with sea salt
- a pinch of sea salt (optional)

Phase 3:
- 20g of water
- 0.5gr of xanthan gum or guar gum
- 10gr of vegetable glycerine
- 5gr virgin coconut oil
- Menthol crystals for refreshing (optional) a small piece is enough,

Phase 4:
essential oils to choose according to your taste. Example: lemon, peppermint, spearmint, grapefruit, sweet orange, clove (sensitive teeth).
- 3 drops clove essential oil for sensitive teeth (optional)
- 10 drops sweet orange essential oil
- 10 drops essential oil grapefruit
- 20 drops essential oil spearmint or peppermint
Note: For children, you can replace essential oils with a natural aroma.

Equipment:
- A bowl and 2 small bowls
- A whip
- A scale
- A container (2oz)


Path to follow:

- Clean and disinfect your hands, utensils and workstation

Step 1: Mix phase 1 in a small bowl and set aside.

Step 2: Mix phase 2 in another small bowl and set aside as well.

Step 3: In another container, add phase 3: water and xanthan gum and stir vigorously with a whisk to avoid lumps then add the glycerin and shake again with a whisk.

Step 4: Reduce the coconut oil in cream (do not melt in liquid). Add your coconut oil to phase 3 and whip until smooth and thick.

Step 5: Add phase 2 to phase 3, whip again and then add phase 1 gradually while whisking until you get a nice batter.
PS: If your paste is too thick, add a little water and whip again.

Step 6: Add your essential oils or natural flavors and mix well

Step 7: Transfer your toothpaste to your container.

Keeps 2 to 3 weeks
