Sidr powder, also known as Jujuba, is traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine and is known for washing and beautifying hair. Rich in saponosides and mucilages, Sidr is an ingredient of choice in pulp vegetable shampoos. The Sidr can wash hair that has been colored especially with Indigo or Katam without disgorging and fixing the color. Also used to soothe the scalp and fight against dandruff and itchy skin.

Uses: In combination with Shikakai or Amla, in hair or facial mask, solid or dry shampoo, aqueous or oily macerate.

Make a paste by mixing with water and apply on the face or on the hair. Leave on for 15 to 20 minutes then rinse. You can add honey, aloe or any other ingredient to your dough that allows for better hydration.
