Geogard ECT Preservative

The Geogard ECT preservative is a unique combination of 4 components, Benzyl Alcohol, Salicylic Acid, Glycerin and Sorbic Acid. These are well accepted components in a wide range of personal care products. The new composition of this antimicrobial blend provides broad spectrum protection in a wide range of products against bacteria, yeasts and molds. Its low-odor profile makes it the ideal choice for fragrance-free products.

The preservative Geogard ECT is sometimes called ecological preservative.

Appearance: Clear liquid, colorless to straw colo .
Recommended level of use: 0.6-1.0%

To be diluted in the aqueous phase.
Solubility: Soluble in water.

Can be used in a wide variety of products including creams, lotions, body butters, sunscreens, lipsticks, make-up products, styling gels, shampoos and conditioners. Can be easily integrated post-emulsification, cold at the end of the formulation at temperatures below 45 ° C
